Bridgend Technology Centre & Feedstock Testing Unit
In 2024 PHE opened a technical centre in Bridgend, South Wales that both centred the two business (PHE and Engsolve) but also to provide a home for a 2.5 tonne per day Pilot plant - or as we refer to it the Feedstock Testing Unit. In March 2025 PHE opened the FTU to investors and the public. Showcasing the DMG technology on a pre commercial scale.
The FTU allows PHE to demonstrate its IP, provide testing for future clients and to further develop its offerings.
The FTU was designed, built and commissioned by Engsolve, and will be operated by PHE. The PHE research and development team will utilise the system for development, process optimisation and for the development of future IP.
We offer testing packages for those with non-recyclable waste, and have the capacity to allow third parties to test their downstream processes by utilising the syngas output from the FTU.
